In 2009 inhabitants were invited to take an original and rather funny picture of a setting with the Meetjesland sticker.  The stickers could be picked up in press shops and tourist offices in the Meetjesland.   Publicity for the action was made in the shops, on our website www.meetjesland.be and in the monthly magazines of the 13 muncipalities.    Inhabitants could win several prices such as a balloon ride, diners, regional products, ...

In december 2010 all inhabitants of the Meetjesland (180.000) received a sticker specially designed to stick next to a number plate.  The sticker was sent with the Meetjesland magazine, a magazine that every inhabitant reveived by post.
